Tonle Sap Lake
Tonle Sap Lake and Kompong Phluk village scenes – Tonle Sap Lake and the area around it is in constant change because the water rises up to 20 feet during the course of the year. Therefore all the inhabitants either build their houses on stilts, live in small houses that can easily be transported to new dry land every month or so, or live in house boats.
