Father's Restaurant

Now that I have a better understanding of Khmer food, thanks to the Royal Khmer Cuisine course I took at the Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, I feel more confident about eating Khmer food in small restaurants around Siem Reap. My favorite so far, is a small but very clean food stall, in the food court section of the Central Market (on Sivatha Boulevard).

The Pub Street area of Siem Reap also has many lively entertainment and drinking venues that will allow you to wind down the evening hours or even keep going all night long if you so desire. sojourn-boutique-150
The Independent (UK) has named their top five hotels of the top five tourist destinations of Cambodia. The five tourist destinations are Phnom Penh, Battambang, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot. The information is based on reviews and rankings from the TripAdvisor website, so it is not really an accurate indication of which hotels receive the most visitors, have the best facilities, or are the best value for your money. Nevertheless it is an interesting look at the hotel industry in Cambodia. Read More...
