Three or four day festival that is celebrated almost anywhere there is enough water to hold a boat race. Streets will be filled with a carnival type atmosphere, food, games, concerts, it is just a big party all over Cambodia.

Pchum Ben Festival
(Feeding the Spirits) - later part of September to beginning of October
The most important religious holiday in Cambodia. When the ghosts come to receive offerings from their living relatives. This festival actually lasts about two weeks with a lot of visits to the temples with offerings, with the last two days considered to be the most important.

Commemoration Day of HRH King Norodom Sihanouk
- October 15
Also known as the King Father of the Country, HRH King Norodom Sihanouk died on the 15th of October, 2012, sixteen days before what would have been his 90th birthday. Look for elaborate floral displays at important shrines around the country.
