The Red Piano - one of the most
famous restaurants (and bar) in Siem Reap, especially after Angelina
Jolie made
it her hang-out, while shooting Lara Croft movie scenes in the nearby
Angkor
temple grounds.

The Soup Dragon - the immensely
popular Soup Dragon is practically full every time I pass by. I haven't
tried it yet (because it is always full) but it is obviously doing
something right. This corner seems to be backpacker central, lots of
foot traffic and took-took drivers shout out to you every ten seconds
(or less). So far I prefer the alley right behind the Soup Dragon, very
nice
restaurants, bars and art galleries.
Update: Well
I finally tried the Soup Dragon for breakfast and it is by far the best
breakfast I have been served in Siem Reap, the quality of the
ingredients, the taste, the presentation and the service gets a solid
five stars from me.
